One of ten linen and cotton "pages" with an excerpt about the weather from Anna Howell's diaries hand-embroidered in her handwriting, along with three tiny pieced illustrations referencing the content of the text. The pieced blocks are about one-and-a-half inches square.
Text reads:
July 29th We are blest this morning with a bright cool refreshing morning and as regards myself I feel stronger and better than I have done, for days past I sincerely hope this change in the air will have a healing influence upon the health of every body—
